The In-Mold Decorating Association is now accepting entries for the 2012 IMDA Awards Competition.
This Sixth Annual IMDA Awards Competition will recognize the industry’s best IML packaging, labels and IMD durable products. Winners are chosen based on creativity in design, engineering and innovation in the following categories:
- Best Part Design
- Best Thin Wall Packaging
- Best Injection Molded Part
- Best Blow Molded Part
- Best IMD Durable Product
- Best Label Design
- Best Product Family (common style or brand)
Competition entry deadline is June 1, 2012. No entries will be accepted after that date.
RULES AND CONDITIONS
Entry fee is US$200 (US funds only) per entry. “Early Bird” fee is US$150 for entries received by May 1, 2012. Individual companies may submit multiple entries but you must send an entry form and fee for each physical entry.
Each entry must include three (3) samples of the label along with one (1) sample of the commercial molded product (not a prototype). Affirmation of commercial production in 2011 is required. Free label samples must match labels on the product sample. Containers must be empty and clean. If container is lidded, lid must be with container and labels must match container and lid.
All entry samples will become the property of IMDA. IMDA reserves the right to publicize all Award winner information and images by any and all means. Receipt of entries is confirmed by e-mail. All entering companies are advised to obtain brand owner permission where applicable.
AWARDS
Awards program will be announced at a later date. The 2012 Awards winners will be featured in the October, 2012 issue of Package Design magazine.
